About This Arrangement
“Night Requiem”, composed by Michiru Oshima, is a deep, emotional track from the PS1 classic Legend of Legaia (released late 1998 in Japan, June 2000 in Spain). It’s one of the slow, atmospheric themes that really stands out amid the game’s mix of battle and exploration music.
Arranging this for solo guitar was a rewarding challenge—I focused on translating the orchestral depth into a fingerstyle version that keeps the haunting mood intact. It’s perfect for quiet practice or a reflective mood.
