About This Arrangement
“Twilight Princess Trailer Theme” is the stirring orchestral piece featured in the 2005 E3 trailer and launch demo for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The music was composed by Mahito Yokota and arranged by Michiru Ōshima, with production input from Toru Minegishi and Asuka Ōta—and although Koji Kondo supervised, this piece is a rare example of Zelda music led by newer composers.
Arranging this for solo guitar was a meaningful challenge—I focused on translating its sweeping, cinematic orchestral lines into a fingerstyle version that keeps its sense of wonder and adventure.
