About This Arrangement
“Bloody Tears” is one of the most iconic tracks in the Castlevania series, originally composed by Kenichi Matsubara and debuting in Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest (NES) in 1988. It’s been rearranged and featured across multiple games—from Haunted Castle to Symphony of the Night, earning its place as a fan favorite.
Arranging this for solo guitar was an exciting challenge—I focused on preserving its energetic, driving melody and transforming those layered chiptune riffs into fingerstyle form. It brings a powerful, nostalgic punch that’s fun to play and instantly recognizable.
