About This Arrangement
“Lost Woods” (also known as Saria’s Song) is the quirky, iconic theme from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Composed by Koji Kondo, it plays in the forest where Saria resides and is memorable for its bright, looping melody that’s often played in Lydian mode—giving it that whimsical, fairy-like feel.
Arranging this for solo guitar was a fun challenge—I focused on turning its light, playful melody and modal progression into a rhythmic fingerstyle version. It’s a cheerful, uplifting piece that’s perfect for practice or just brightening your day.
