About This Arrangement
“Skyloft” is the uplifting and airy theme from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (2011), composed by Shiho Fujii as part of the game’s orchestral soundtrack—developed by a team including Hajime Wakai, Mahito Yokota, and others who embraced live instrumentation for the first time in the series. The melody appears when exploring the floating town of Skyloft, perfectly conveying its serene, sky‑bound charm.
Arranging this for solo guitar was a delight. I focused on translating the light, hopeful melody and gentle orchestral textures into fingerstyle form, aiming to retain that breezy, uplifting atmosphere.
